My dear friend Luke "Skywalker" Clementis, also known as "Front Gate Luke" and "Woodstock Luke" passed away in the fall of 2005. During his life he shared a special spiritual connection with my husband Cephas, and with me. In fact, Luke adopted me at the 2005 West Virginia rainbow gathering. It was a proud and joyous moment for me. Luke was a mentor for me in the ways of healing and the spirit. He was really in tune with the invisible realm of spirit and I hold the lessons he shared with me dear to my heart. I'll cherish my friendship with this man forever.
Our adventures with Luke play an instrumental role in our lives from the day he picked us up hitch-hiking that summer day on a remote Idaho highway. We walked through some kind of portal to a destiny I never could have imagined. It was a welcome journey long in the making and one I will never regret.
The days and years have rolled forward swiftly but the memories are indelibly etched into my soul forever. Thank God for the many blessings in my life, and Luke was a huge blessing. He was a mentor, a father, a friend, a brother and all things necessary for my spiritual growth in the following years. Luke has traveled to the spirit world but that does not mean we are separated. He flew like an eagle into the sun and his spirit is ever present with us to this day. I have to include the miraculous display of his departure the day we held his memorial at the rainbow gathering in Colorado. It is a phenomenal spiritual display of God's ever present power and connection between the physical and spiritual realms.
